In styling we dress the body shape and not the body size. Your body shape is the natural bone structure of your body. You will be the same body shape whatever your size, that's why we don't fixate on sizes of clothes and why, you don't need to lose weight to start your styling journey.
Knowing your body shape further refines the styling process making it easier to edit your wardrobe and shop for new items such as the perfect pair of jeans!
Body Shape Analysis

Your Body Shape is the natural bone structure of your body, regardless of size. No undressing or measuring is required. There are 6 body shapes. You may have heard a body shape being referred to as 'Pear Shape' or 'Apple Shape'. There's no likening to fruit or veg here! I use actual shapes such as 'Hourglass' or 'Triangle' to describe the lines of the body but we use these as a guide only. Dressing your shape is about understanding proportions in outfits, showing off your 'best bits' and diverting attention away from your least favourite parts! It's simple tweaks that make for clever dressing.
It is against my styling principles to put people into boxes, everyone's body and story is unique and so we will also take into account any surgeries, whether by choice such as breast enlargement/reduction or surgeries relating to illness. Everyone deserves to feel happy and content in their body EVERY SINGLE DAY!
In this session we identify which body shape you most closely resemble and I will show you how to dress your shape effectively. For example, which style of necklines will flatter you and which style of jeans will work best for you! We will look at some of the pieces you already have in your wardrobe and how to style them or tweak them for your shape.
You will be sent a pdf guide following the session and have the option to add a Personalised Shopping Board made for you from which you can shop from.
Understanding your body shape further refines the styling process meaning your outfits will look more streamlined, elevated and of course STYLISH!
It will help you enormously when you go shopping, instantly eliminating pieces that you know will just not work for you, saving you time and energy buying the wrong pieces, and focusing on bringing the right pieces into the wardrobe and looking good TODAY!

Have you ever actually sat and thought about what your style is or what look you are trying to achieve? That's exactly what we do in this session.
In your Style Edit, we will have a chat about your current lifestyle, the places you go, the people you see and the image you would like to portray that is aligned with your authentic self.
We can look at some of your current clothes and we will also look at websites, magazines and define a look that truly feels like you. You'll receive a Style Board after the session with my advice on what the next steps will be to start curating and refining a wardrobe that not only makes you feel great but which has everything you need for whatever occasion may arise.
You also have the option to add a Personalised Shopping Board with clickable links to any pieces you may like to purchase.

On-line Shape Analysis

An online Shape Analysis can be carried out by using your photographs which is perfect if you don't live locally but want to continue with your styling journey. Just purchase an analysis through the online store. You'll be sent a questionnaire to complete and then you send it back with your photos.
Once your Shape Analysis is completed, you'll be sent a digital guide that explains how to dress your shape effectively.
